Remembering Willow

Willow suffered non intractable status epilepticus at 3 months old, resulting in a severe HIE.

She was a beautiful, loving little girl who loved being outside, playing with spin toys, being held, looking at lights, the Christmas season, Disney's Encanto, Moana, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She learned to play with toys and even prop sat for 1 minute!

Then, her brain damage was too much for her little body and she lost her battle with HIE on December 24th, 2024 at home in my arms.

She was a donor and was able to donate her heart valves.
